A botched suicide.... A case of mistaken identity... A chance pairing....

W

 ealthy prosecutor Stephen Wells attempts suicide after a humiliating court loss and a streak of bad luck. Rock n' roll guitarist "The Love Machine" crashes his motorcycle and lands in the adjacent hospital bed. A case of mistaken identity leads to Stevie gets pummeled senseless by washed up punk rock singer "Styx Dynamite" and his boys looking to collect on a bad bet. Trying to make things right the machine vows to help Stevie back to happiness. They collide with Kimberly Ann and her sister Cindy who ironically is recovering after an unsuccessful suicide attempt herself. Machine and Kim play cupid trying to restore the two to happiness.
